Taxpayers Reminded of Jan. 31 Listing Deadline

Jan 20, 2022

Cumberland County Tax Administration reminds citizens the tax listing deadline is Jan. 31. Listing forms must be updated, signed, and returned and must be postmarked by the United States Postal Service no later than Jan. 31st to avoid a 10% late listing penalty.

Obtain listing forms online at cumberlandcountync.gov under Forms & Publications or in person at the Tax Administration Office located on the 5th floor of the Judge E. Maurice Braswell Cumberland County Courthouse, 117 Dick St., Fayetteville.

Mail listing forms to Tax Administration, P.O. Box 449, Fayetteville, NC 28302, or bring in person to Room 530 of the Courthouse.

Another contactless option for submitting tax listings and forms is the secure drop box, located next to the U.S. Postal Service mailboxes located outside the rear entrance of the Courthouse facing Cool Spring Street.

Taxpayers who need in-person assistance are reminded of COVID-19 protocols. Anyone entering the Courthouse is required to wear a mask or face covering.
