FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – The Cumberland County Department of Public Health Environmental Health Division and Fayetteville Technical Community College will hold the third Annual Food Safety Forum on Thursday, April 14 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This event will occur in The Horace Sisk Building, 2201 Hull Road on the FTCC Campus.
This years' forum will present a diverse panel to provide information on how to prepare menu's, starting a bakery, restaurant requirements, mobile food trucks, and the Department of Agriculture. Interactive food stations will begin after the Panel is complete.
Station 1: “The Process of Preparing Sous Vide”
Station 2: “The Art of Baking Desserts”
Station 3: "Sustainability- What? When? and why?"
The interactive nature of this forum will only allow sixty participants. Participants must send an email to cdwilliams@co.cumberland.nc.us a request and confirm a space.
Please use Parking Lots 3 and 20. FTCC Security will be available to assist you.
