The purpose of the Fayetteville Area Convention and Visitors Bureau Board of Directors is to position Cumberland County as a destination for conventions, tournaments, and individual travel and to engage in any lawful act or activity for which non-profit corporations may be organized under Chapter 55A of the North Carolina General Statutes.

The Joint Fort Bragg & Cumberland County Food Policy Council’s mission is to work towards decreasing food insecurity while increasing food accessibility by implementing policies, systems, or environmental priorities identified by the Food Policy Council.
Executive Council Member Duties:
At-Large Members (13)
Membership on the Food Council is open to any community member of Fort Bragg and Cumberland County, North Carolina, and is meant to ensure a community-wide commitment to decreasing food insecurity and increasing food accessibility.
With equity at the forefront, members will be recruited with the aim to reflect the racial, economic, and geographic diversity of Cumberland County and Ft. Bragg, including those who have experienced food insecurity.
The Co-chairs will convene and preside at meetings. At a minimum, 4 meetings will be held each year on dates chosen by the Executive Committee.
