Asbestos
The Ann Street Landfill’s Subtitle-D area accepts asbestos.
The procedures are as follows:
- Is accepted Monday – Friday between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
- You must call 910-321-6928, 24-hours in advance to make an appointment.
- You must bring the completed NC Asbestos Waste Shipment Record to the scale house with each load to be disposed.
- There is a limit of two (2) loads per day.
- There is an additional handling fee of $100 per load in addition to the regular tipping fee.
