Employee Pharmacy

The Employee Pharmacy is a closed-door pharmacy serving Cumberland County employees and retirees. Employees on the County’s Blue Cross and Blue Shield health insurance, as well as retirees under 65 and dependents covered under this plan, may use the Employee Pharmacy for their prescription needs. These individuals will not have a copay for most generic prescriptions and will enjoy cheaper copays for brand-name medications when they choose to use the Employee Pharmacy rather than outside pharmacies. Employees are encouraged to use their medical spending cards at the Pharmacy.

Employees who do not have the County’s health insurance plan may use the Pharmacy but must pay out-of-pocket for their medications and may not purchase controlled substances. The Pharmacy is unable to accept any insurance except the County’s Blue Cross and Blue Shield plan.

Employees who wish to transfer prescriptions from other pharmacies to the Employee Pharmacy should download the Information Form for New Pharmacy Patients and submit the completed form to the Pharmacy in person.
