Cumberland County Emergency Services invites the public to attend the 21st annual memorial service to honor firefighters and Emergency Services workers who have sacrificed their lives serving the citizens of Cumberland County and Fort Bragg. During the service, two names will be added to a longstanding memorial plaque. The plaque includes the names of those who made the ultimate sacrifice. The ceremony will have a reading of those honored – including an ambulance on display dedicated to one of the first responders being honored, a bell ringing, wreath-laying, flyover by LifeLink Air (weather permitting) and bagpipe playing.
