FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Cumberland County Public Library invites everyone to WRAP up some reading fun this winter with the Winter Reading and Activity Program which runs from Dec. 15 through Jan.15 at all eight library locations.
WRAP allows people of all ages to win prizes for reading and participating in library-related activities and is sponsored by the Friends of the Cumberland County Library, Inc. Register by picking up a WRAP record at one of eight library locations, or online at https:\\cumberland.lib.nc.libguides.com/winter_reading_program and print it at home. Then turn in your completed form at any library location.
Children can track their progress on a reading record and turn it in to receive a free book and be entered into drawings for $25 bookstore gift cards and the grand prize of a bundle of books.
Teens can play Bingo to win prizes. Cover the spaces by completing reading- and library-related activities and get a Bingo in any direction (up, down, diagonal). Turn in the Bingo form to receive a free book and be entered into drawings for a $25 bookstore gift card and a grand prize of a bundle of books.
Adults can also play Bingo to win prizes. Cover the spaces by completing reading- and library-related activities and get a Bingo in any direction (up, down, diagonal). Turn in the Bingo form to receive a limited-edition squeezable penguin (one per customer while supplies last) and be entered into drawings for WRAP gift baskets and the grand prize of a $100 gift card.
All library locations are open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
