Cooperative Extension to Conduct Master Gardener Volunteer Training

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – North Carolina Cooperative Extension will hold two informational meetings for individuals interested in becoming a certified Extension Master Gardener Volunteer. 

Master Gardener volunteers are educators who share their knowledge and skills with the public to promote science-based, sustainable gardening practices.

The meetings will be from 10 – 11:30 a.m. on Oct. 18 and 2 – 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 20.  Both meetings are to be held in the N.C. Cooperative Extension office located at 301 East Mountain Drive in Fayetteville. You will only need to attend one meeting.

There will be time for questions and answers. Applications for the training will be available during the meeting. The 2023 Extension Master Gardener Volunteer training will begin in January.
