FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Once polls close at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 8, the public is invited to view the General Election results for Cumberland County in the Crown Complex Ballroom, located at 1960 Coliseum Drive.
The unofficial results from the State Board of Elections website will be projected on the large screens in the ballroom. Candidate, supporters, media representatives and the general public are welcome to gather together to await the numbers from the Cumberland County Board of Elections.
The ballroom will open at 7 p.m. and will close promptly once results from all county precincts have been reported. Public parking will be available in the West VIP parking lot. Directional signs will be posted.
The Friends of the Crown Lounge, located just outside the ballroom, will be open during the event from 7 to 9 p.m. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
Voters can also track election results from their own computers or phones at cumberlandcountync.gov/elections and on the State Board of Elections website at ncsbe.gov.
One-stop early voting will end Saturday, Nov. 5 at 3 p.m. If you are not registered to vote, you may register at early voting sites during the one-stop early voting period. After registering, you will immediately be able to vote at the same site. Polls will open on Election Day, Nov. 8, at 6:30 a.m. and close at 7:30 p.m. To check to see whether you are registered to vote, view your Election Day polling location, and a sample ballot, go to https://vt.ncsbe.gov/RegLkup/.
