FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Cumberland County Public Library invites everyone to ‘WRAP’ up the year with some reading fun this winter! The Winter Reading and Activity Program runs from Dec. 15 through Jan.15 at all eight library locations.
Sponsored by the Friends of the Cumberland County Public Library, Inc., WRAP allows readers of all ages to win prizes for tracking their reading progress and participating in library-related activities. Register online at http://ccplnc.readsquared.com or by picking up a WRAP record at any CCPL location.
Children will complete a five-hour reading record to receive a free book (one per customer, while supplies last), an entry to win a $25 bookstore gift card and an entry to win the grand prize children’s book bundle.
Teens will complete a five-hour reading record to receive a free book (one per customer, while supplies last), an entry to win a $25 bookstore gift card and an entry to win the grand prize teen book bundle.
Both children and teens may count attending in-person programs or watching virtual programs toward their progress and may also complete continuation records for bonus entries into the drawings.
Adults will complete a row on a bingo card to receive a limited-edition flashlight (one per customer, while supplies last) and an entry into the drawings for a winter gift bundle and the grand prize, a $100 gift card. Participants may complete the full bingo card to earn three bonus entries into the drawings.
All library locations are open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Headquarters Library, Hope Mills Branch, North Regional Library and Cliffdale Regional Library are open Sunday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
