FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – The Cumberland County Public Library announces Friends of the Cumberland County Public Library Book Sales for the month of August.
A Friends of the Library members only sale will be held Monday, Aug. 21, from 12 – 6 p.m. Members of the public may join the Friends of the Cumberland County Public Library, Inc. at the sale or before the sale at any branch or online using their PayPal account.
Book sales for the public are Friday, Aug. 25, from 12 – 5 p.m.; Saturday, Aug. 26, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 27, from 2 – 5 p.m.
The book sale will take place at the Cumberland County Public Library Headquarters Building located at 300 Maiden Lane in Fayetteville. Follow the signs to the new entrance at the lower level. If parking on the side of the library (Maiden Lane), enter through the door immediately on your left at the bottom of the stairs leading to Cross Creek.
Free parking is available in the Headquarters Library side lot accessible via Maiden Lane and the staff parking lot in the rear of the library, accessible via Ray Avenue. Please note the parking lot directly across from the library is not free. Parking in this lot without paying may result in a parking ticket.
