FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – The Cumberland County Board of Elections held a swearing in ceremony during the board’s regular meeting held July 22 at the Board of Elections office in the E. Newton Smith Center.
Ryan Eric Johnson and Brenda May “Bree” Eldridge were sworn in for the first time, after being appointed by the North Carolina Board of Elections. Returning board members Linda Devore, Irene Grimes and Derek Edmonds were also sworn in to serve new terms. Devore is the chair. Grimes was the previous chair.
