Cooperative Extension to Hold Eggs Workshop on October 25

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - Cumberland County Cooperative Extension will host the Better Living Series “Eggs all year? It ain’t no yolk” workshop October 25 from 10 - 11:30 a.m. The in-person workshop will be held at the Cumberland County Cooperative Extension office, located at 301 East Mountain Drive in Fayetteville. 

The workshop will explain what role light plays in a hen’s life and how to keep hens laying eggs through the shorter winter days. Registration and the registration fee of $5 are due by October 20.
