FAYETTEVILLE N.C. – The Judge E. Maurice Braswell Cumberland County Courthouse was evacuated around 11:30 a.m. after a power outage. The courthouse has lost the main transformer.  Due to this, the courthouse will be closed the rest of today, July 8. 

Every attempt will be made to re-open the courthouse July 9, 2021, for regular business hours.
